The extension complements the existing property while introducing contemporary features. Key design elements include smooth rendered external walls to match the existing dwelling, a low-pitched roof finished with complementary roof tiles, anthracite grey aluminium bi-fold doors providing direct access to the rear garden, a new kitchen window overlooking the garden, contemporary external lighting and matching fascias, soffits, gutters and rainwater goods. The proposed glazing creates a well-proportioned rear elevation and significantly improves the visual connection between the internal living spaces and the outdoor environment.
