A contemporary design approach that respects the architectural character of the existing dwelling. External walls are finished in render to match the existing property, and a clean flat roof minimises visual impact while providing a modern and elegant appearance. Key features include demolition of the existing conservatory, a full-width single-storey rear extension, a central glazed roof lantern, large aluminium-framed sliding or bi-fold doors, full-height feature glazing adjacent to the main living space, a generous kitchen window overlooking the rear garden, anthracite grey aluminium frames, fascias and rainwater goods, and integrated external lighting to the rear elevation.
